LOCAL RULES
All players and visitors are requested to observe the standards of player conduct set out in Rule 1.2 of the Rules of Golf.
Please follow the instructions of the course marshal and club staff and maintain a good pace of play in accordance with Rule 5.6b.
Replace divots, repair pitch marks and rake bunkers after use. Please dispose of litter and cigarette ends responsibly. The use of range balls on the golf course is strictly prohibited.
When using a golf buggy, please follow all directional signage, particularly around greens and teeing areas. Golf buggies may only be driven on fairways and designated paths. Driving in the rough is not permitted.
OUT OF BOUNDS
The boundary of the course is defined by the line between the inside points of the electric fence posts (Rule 2.1).
On holes 6, 8, 9, 10 and 17, out of bounds is defined by white stakes (Rule 2.1).
Fence posts and boundary stakes are boundary objects and are not movable obstructions (Rules 8.1 and 16.1).
NO PLAY ZONES (16.1f and 17.1e)
Areas marked by red stakes with black tops on holes 8, 9 and 15, as well as the area between holes 1 and 18, are designated No Play Zones (environmentally protected areas).
These areas are treated as red penalty areas and relief must be taken under Rule 17.
Entry into these areas is strictly prohibited, including for the purpose of searching for a ball.
Drop Zones are provided on holes 8 and 9 as an additional relief option for balls entering a No Play Zone.
IMMOVABLE OBSTRUCTIONS (Rule 16.1)
The following are immovable obstructions:
If a ball strikes a power pole or overhead power line, the stroke must be cancelled and replayed without penalty (Rule 14.6).
MOVABLE OBSTRUCTIONS (Rule 15.2)
The following are movable obstructions:
Areas of maintained red sand (sand waste areas) form part of the general area and are not bunkers.
ALTERNATIVE TO STROKE AND DISTANCE (E-5 )
When a ball is lost outside a penalty area or is out of bounds, the player may, for two penalty strokes, take relief by dropping a ball in the designated relief area near the edge of the fairway of the hole being played, in accordance with Model Local Rule E-5.
